Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the Meritaria scholarship application platform.
Privacy by organizationEach scholarship organization sees only its own applicants and is responsible for its program criteria, notices, and contact information.
1. Accounts and eligibility
Use the portal through an authorized invitation and provide accurate information. Protect your password. Parents or guardians must provide any consent required for a minor applicant, including optional rollover retention.
2. Applications and awards
Submitting an application does not guarantee eligibility or an award. The scholarship organization controls criteria, deadlines, review, and decisions. Applications are automatically matched only to open scholarships whose subject or selected major is eligible.
3. Your application materials
You retain ownership of your materials and allow Meritaria and the selected organization to use them only to administer, review, audit, and support the scholarship program. Upload only material requested by the organization.
4. Acceptable use
Do not impersonate another person, enter inaccurate information, upload unlawful or malicious material, access another organization’s data, or interfere with the service.
5. Suspension and records
Accounts may be suspended for fraud, security threats, or serious violations. Organizations can archive a limited name-and-award summary or delete organization records as described in the privacy notice. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain protected.
