Authorized organization staff
Optional auction portal
Use the separate auction portal when fundraising auctions are enabled for your organization.
1Open and prepare an event
- An authorized platform administrator must enable auction access for the organization. Once enabled, organization administrators can open Auction portal from their workspace.
- Create an event and choose its mode, venue details, and schedule. Add item names, descriptions, images, starting bids, and bid increments.
- Review the event and items before publishing or opening bidding.
2Register bidders and record bids
- Register each bidder with the correct name and contact details. Use the assigned bidder number rather than inventing a new number at each station.
- Staff working on the same event should confirm the active event and current bidder before recording a bid.
- Use the live bidding controls to record the intended bidder and amount. Check the updated bid record; refresh if a station is out of date.
3Close and reconcile
- Close an item only when bidding on that item should end, then verify the winning bidder and amount.
- Review the event ledger and reconcile auction results with your organization’s records.
- Auction bidder records are separate from student applications and scholarship decisions.
