Cycles and deadlines
Keep each scholarship season organized and prepare the next one without mixing its applicants with past records.
1Create a cycle
- Open Scholarship cycles and create a cycle with its name and year.
- Keep it in Draft while setting up forms, scholarships, committee assignments, and closeout.
- Use Launch cycle when your program is ready. Check individual scholarship deadlines as well.
2Duplicate or archive
- Use Duplicate to next year to start from an existing cycle configuration. Review the new name, dates, forms, and scholarships before launch.
- Verify invitation codes and required documents for the new season instead of reusing last year’s printed instructions without checking.
- Archive a completed cycle after decisions, messages, and required reporting are finished. Read deletion warnings before deleting anything.
3Check availability
- A passed scholarship deadline prevents new entries. Moving a deadline forward can restore availability when the scholarship otherwise meets its open conditions.
- Check the cycle state, scholarship settings, and remaining recipient slots if a scholarship still appears closed.
- After changing dates, save and verify the scholarship’s displayed status.
