Administrators and reviewers

Reviewers, rubrics, and blind review

Assign reviewers, define scoring, and evaluate applicants without confusing recommendations with final awards.

1Configure access and scoring

  1. Invite staff by email, manage roles and titles, and assign scholarships in Team & permissions under Organization. Use Review workload below Applicants to monitor assigned applications and review completion.
  2. Configure rubric descriptions, criteria, point values, and weights in Organization settings. Check the totals and explain the scoring to reviewers.
  3. An administrator who also scores must be assigned as a reviewer for the relevant scholarship.

2Set blind review deliberately

  1. Enable or disable blind review in Organization settings.
  2. Keep substantive custom answers visible unless an answer could reveal identity.
  3. Blind reviewers do not receive uploaded files or direct identity fields. Inspect visible essays and recommendation text for identifying details, and hide identifying custom answers before review begins.

3Complete reviews

  1. Reviewers open assigned applications, inspect permitted answers and files, and record rubric scores, recommendations, and private notes.
  2. Save the review and confirm it finishes saving before navigating away.
  3. Administrators compare completed reviews and sort by average score. Check how many reviewers have scored each applicant before comparing averages.
