Scholarships and matching
Connect scholarships to the forms students complete and make eligibility clear.
1Create an opportunity
- Set the scholarship name, description, eligibility, award amount, recipient slots, and closing date.
- Select the application form or forms accepted for that scholarship. Save and check the displayed requirements.
- Configure subject and major matching, and whether matching applications are accepted automatically.
2Offer optional scholarships
- In the application form, connect an additional scholarship when students should opt in.
- Use a named checkbox with a description or requirements for a simple choice.
- Use an optional supplemental section for extra essays or questions. Explain that students may skip it and check the requirements for being considered.
3Check a missing assignment
- Confirm the student submitted the correct form and the scholarship accepts it.
- Check the deadline, cycle state, eligibility, automatic matching setting, and remaining award slots.
- Use applicant assignment controls when an administrator needs to place a submitted application into an appropriate scholarship.
